El Departamento de Ingeniería Informática los invita a la charla dictada por el ex alumno DIINF Felipe Garay (Software Engineer – Google), la charla se titula “How Google Tests” (Charla en español). El evento se realizará el día miércoles 19 de abril a las 11:30 hrs en la sala 201 del Departamento de Ingeniería Informática DIINF-USACH y será transmitida online por Zoom.
Biografía del expositor: Felipe es un ex-alumno de Ingeniería Civil y Magíster en Informática del Departamento de Informática, USACH. Trabajó durante 3 años en Synopsys Chile en el equipo de Design For Testing como R&D Engineer y ahora se desempeña desde hace 3 años como Software Engineer en Google, California en el equipo de infraestructura para Diff Testing en la Play Store.
Resumen: Based on the book “How Google Tests Software”, we will take an updated look at the current state of software testing at Google’s scale. From unit testing to automated diff tests, we will see how Google writes modern tests to verify all the changes that are developed every day in the Play Store while at the same time respecting the user’s data and privacy
